Housing companies may contact you offering discounted hotel rates for The NAFEM Show. There is only one official housing coordinator for The NAFEM Show: onPeak. onPeak began accepting reservations for housing June 1.
As always, your exhibit contract must be submitted before housing reservations can be made.

On November 17, The NAFEM Show app will be available to all exhibiting companies. Instructions will be provided during the presentation of Webinar #4, Exhibitor Dashboard Tools, November 17, 1:00 pm, CST, or via the exhibitor dashboard. Make sure to take advantage of the app's features to enhance your presence at The NAFEM Show.
Attendees (dealers, operators, KES and MAS consultants) employed in the foodservice industry have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship, providing free registration and $500 to apply toward travel assistance and the costs of attending The NAFEM Show. If you've been meaning to get certified, consider participating in the annual overview seminar at NAFEM headquarters in Chicago. The next NAFEM-hosted overview and exam takes place Aug. 23 & 24, 2017 of 2017. The overview & exam are not offered during The NAFEM Show or NRA Show.
Can't make it in August? You can always purchase one of NAFEM's CFSP packages to streamline the certification process. The CFSP Online Course Package is $775/person and includes the application fee, a .pdf copy of the review questions and glossary of terms from the textbook, the online module and exam. The CFSP In-Person Course Package is $550/person and includes the application fee, the 20-chapter textbook, An Introduction to the Foodservice Industry, the one-day, in-person overview and exam. In recent foodservice equipment & supplies industry news, AutoQuotes founder Kent Motes transitioned to chairman emeritus in October. Susannah Albright has been appointed as the organization's chief executive officer.
In other news, PRIDE Marketing & Procurement, Inc., has changed its name to PRIDE Centric Resources. The new name is part of the organization's strategic growth initiative. Details are available at www.pridecentricresources.com.
The Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) recently introduced an all new
calendar and signup form to begin taking reservations for its World Headquarters & Global
Training Facility in Fort Mill, S.C. The space can be used for equipment training,
rep/consultant training or as business meeting space. Register via CFESA's website.
Take a moment to visit NAFEM's directory of associate members . Remember to count them as resources for your service needs in education and training, employment recruitment, export management, food safety product needs, freight resources, marketing and communications services, systems and technology, product design, development and engineering, third-party certification, utility organizations and trade publishing.
NAFEM's industry calendar needs your input. It includes a feature that
allows you to download events into your personal calendar. Once you
have visited the site to add an event, please allow 48 hours for
NAFEM staff to review the submissions and make them live.
